I came across this wiki about weasel words.

I now know that Romanians' favorite weasel expression is recognized on an international level: passive voice weaseling - "S-a facut ..." ("... has been done"). :)

I wonder how many weasel brands you know. Or how many weasel words I type daily.

Asking "Why?" as many times as possible will yield the true root cause for one problem / opportunity. In this example I kept only one reason per box. (sometimes, there are more reasons why, but there shouldn't be more than 2-3 root causes)

Reading the boxes from bottom to top:
"Hey, there's something wrong with the marketing department."

"Nope, it's the competition"
"definetly the competition. It's playing dirty"
"Oh no, the pricing's wrong"
"It's those bastards from the finance department"
"They just respond to management objectives"
"Greedy management..."
"Poor managers, they are just puppets for the company's share holders"

Empty Words

How good or bad is "an interesting book"? How big is "time"? Who is this "state" and how can he/she spend money on something? Who is the "company" and how can he/she take care of employees or clients? And what is a "nation"?
To me, all of these words seem empty. One can measure, describe and even adore these concepts but fundamentally, no one can define them.
